Course Mindful Communication
Starts beginning of September 2025
Courses of the Mind Retreat Program (MRP) are taught at different times through the year. All three courses last seven weeks and are suitable for practitioners of all levels. In these courses you learn the mindfulness-meditation techniques, how to apply them during meditations and how to integrate them into your daily life.
The Four Foundations
...In this course, you will learn the three mindfulness techniques B1 through B3. These techniques offer a simple yet powerful way to practice. In the lessons, you will receive explanations, we share our experiences, but mostly we practice meditation together. Meditation is the way to train your mindfulness. You will take this practice into your daily life. The techniques and the method of practice follow a Buddhist teaching from Thailand. The course is suitable for all levels of practitioners.

Mindfulness in Everyday Life
...In this course you learn to integrate the techniques of the Mind Retreat Program in your daily life. How do you stay with your breathing during all your activities? We will also address what holds us back, why we often don't stick with it, and fall back into old patterns. We will practice and train on what to do instead.
In this course, we use the same three techniques as in the first course. These will be reviewed first. So, you can join in right away, even if you have no experience with mindfulness or meditation.

The Mindfulness Code
...In this third course, we will learn the full set of techniques: B1 through B7, and O8. These techniques have a very powerful effect and help you, as a practitioner, to detach and let go of your problems.
You will learn the mindfulness code, which explains the Boeddha's teaching of suffering in understandable terms, and putting this into practice through the three principles of mindfulness; the way to directly understand the the four noble truths and apply the eightfold path without getting lost in ideas.

Mindful Communication
...In this fourth course, we will train and develop the skill of mindful speech, and mindful listening. A most valuable skill for all of us.
How often have you wished you could have acted in a more mindful way? And how often was that related to something you said, or to something that someone said to you, and erked you the wrong way?

Overcome your personal challenges and complaints
Whether you’re dealing with stress, burnout, constant thinking, anger, struggling with bad habits, feeling restless, experiencing fluctuating emotions, facing a dilemma, or simply seeking more stability or meaning in your life – this program gives you the means to help yourself.
The program offers you a great opportunity to really make a change in your life, to transform patterns that you would be able to get to. Also, you will make mindfulness a part of your daily routine, meaning you will have a whole new tool with you that you can keep on using to clean and wash your mind with.
Keep in mind that you never choose what you let go, it happens on its own accord by your mindful presence in your body. But it is always the thing that needs to be let go of. It goes beyond your ego, and so it is the most loving path follow. The ego is aggressive and acts out its will, meaning you actually force change.
So what do you give yourself by delving into mindfulness? The way back home. The way back to knowing your own mind and it's goodness. This is a journey, not a 12 week thing you put in your task list. But 12 weeks of training in one program makes a big difference, and can spark the change that you have been seeking for. Finding meaning again, calming your restless mind and stop being a slave to your patterns.
Guidance by Willem
The whole program can be followed online, completely unsupervised. It is complete with instructions and videos. Yet a lot of people would like some personal guidance in the proces, a group to share experiences with, and opportunity to ask questions when in doubt. The group sessions and contact with me also help you stay motivated in difficult times.
There are seven guided sessions: one at the start, and then every two weeks we have another session.
Costs
The total cost is 650 euro. For this you get
the online program with video material, exercise program and theory (300 euro).
online guided sessions (350 euro). There are seven sessions in total: a kick off session at the start, five sessions during the program, and a final session to conclude the program.

Note that you first need to sign up with me before starting the online program via the Inner Mind Institute, otherwise it might happen that you start the online course and I am not able to guide you.
